Digital Photography

The Nikon D850, paired with my trusted lenses, a Nikkor AF-S D 17–35mm f/2.8 ED, a Zeiss Milvus 2.8, and the Nikkor AF-S D 80–200mm, forms the backbone of my digital photography. Combined with a complete range of NiSi filters, this setup allows me to push the boundaries of long exposure photography and capture scenes with depth, precision, and atmosphere.

What I love about the D850 is its ability to deliver incredible detail and tonal range, making every frame a canvas for creativity. Each lens brings its own character: the wide 17–35mm for sweeping landscapes, the Zeiss for sharp rendering and unique colour rendition, and the 80–200mm for isolating distant subjects with striking compression.

The NiSi filters complete the process, transforming ordinary light into extraordinary images.
By slowing down time, they allow clouds to stretch across the sky and waves to soften into mist, bringing a dreamlike quality to my landscapes. Every image becomes more than a capture, it becomes an interpretation, shaped by both vision and precision tools.

Shooting this way is more than technical, it’s immersive. Every decision, from choosing the lens to stacking the right filters, slows down the process and makes each photograph intentional. The D850 and NiSi system bridge technical excellence with artistic expression, preserving fleeting moments in a timeless, cinematic fashion and continuously fuelling my creative process.
